What is a 'token'?
Tokens are the unit of AI compute — roughly a word or a few characters. A typical coding task uses 3,000–15,000 tokens depending on codebase size and complexity.
Can I use my own API key on a paid plan?
Yes. BYOK Free and BYOK Plus plans use your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini key. You pay the provider directly at their rates, with no markup from us. The Starter and Pro plans provide platform tokens so you don't need to manage a key.
What happens if I run out of tokens?
Tasks will stop and you'll be notified. You can upgrade your plan or top up. We never let costs run beyond your plan without explicit confirmation.
Is the app free to download?
Yes, Queued is free on both the App Store and Google Play. The BYOK Free tier gives you full product access immediately — no trial, no credit card required.
Which AI models does Queued use?
Queued works with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Gemini models. On platform credit plans, we use a blended model selection optimised for code quality and cost.
What GitHub permissions are required?
Queued connects via GitHub OAuth — no personal access token needed. During sign-in, you'll authorise Queued to clone repos, push branches, and open pull requests on your behalf.
